HomeFleet is local-first. You can use the app without creating an account, and your assets, maintenance records, receipts, documents, warranties, policies, projects, and photos remain on your device unless you choose to enable Cloud Backup.
Information you provide
HomeFleet stores information you enter or import, including asset details, maintenance history, project costs, receipt images, documents, notes, and reminders. Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to capture or attach an image.
Cloud Backup
Cloud Backup is optional. If enabled, HomeFleet uses Sign in with Apple and Supabase to process an account identifier and synchronize user-provided HomeFleet content. Cloud records are used only to provide backup, restore, and sync features.
Purchases
Apple processes HomeFleet Premium purchases through the App Store. HomeFleet receives entitlement status and product information from StoreKit but does not receive your full payment-card details.
On-device processing and public data
Receipt text recognition uses Apple Vision on the device. Optional asset estimates may use public market benchmark data and user-provided vehicle or home details. HomeFleet does not represent these estimates as appraisals or guaranteed sale values.
Tracking and advertising
HomeFleet does not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or use cross-app tracking.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. You can delete your Cloud Backup account from Settings. Cloud account deletion removes cloud records and the sign-in account while intentionally leaving local records on your device.
Security
HomeFleet stores the Cloud Backup session in the iOS Keychain and uses encrypted network connections. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so keep your device protected and avoid storing unnecessary sensitive information.
